CFD Analyst
This is an excellent opportunity for a talented candidate to get involved in development of an innovative compressed-air energy storage system. An ideal candidate will be a hands-on engineer who possesses a high level of creativity and innovation, and has deep understanding of the science underlying our technology.
Responsibilities
• CFD Modeling and Validation of various parts of our system
• Analysis of experimental data and fine tuning model parameters
• Designing experimental apparatus for validation purposes
• Solving analytical problems in various fields including thermodynamics, gas and fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and multiphase flow
Requirements
• Passionate about green technologies and making the world a better place to live
• PhD or Masters degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
• At least 3 years of industrial CFD experience
• Solid knowledge of Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, Fluid and Gas Dynamics
• Eager to solve challenging problems
• Experienced in CAD, MATLAB and ANSYS FLUENT and UDF's
• Knowledge of multiphase flow modeling
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Working knowledge of compressors and turbomachinery
• Working knowledge of pressure, temperature, and flow measurements
