Prototype Machinist

We are looking for a first class machinist to work in a fast paced, prototype machine shop. Most of the work will be one-off parts with very demanding requirements. Our team of scientists, engineers and assembly technicians constantly bring designs and ideas into the shop that need to be executed quickly and accurately. About half of the work is build-to-print parts with specific requirements, the other half is "find a solution to this problem". We work in a state-of-the-art shop with all new machines and high quality tooling.

• Minimum 5 years machining experience with both mills and lathes
• CNC programming experience (Mastercam preferred)
• Ability to build parts to print with minimal supervision
• Ability to work with quality control until the parts meet the requirements
• Strong understanding of GD&T
• Welding and fabrication experience (certification desired but not required)
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Open minded attitude
